This is a fairly common problem among men and ashwagandha may be the natural remedy to help.

Ashwagandha, also known as Indian ginseng, is an ancient herb that has been used in Ayurvedic medicine for centuries. It is believed to have a number of health benefits, including improved sexual performance, increased libido, and improved fertility. Recent studies have also shown that ashwagandha can help men who deal with erectile dysfunction. This is because it may work to increase testosterone levels, thereby improving erectile function.

Ashwagandha belongs to a class of plants known as adaptogens, which are believed to have various health benefits. Also known as Indian ginseng and winter cherry, ashwagandha is a type of herbal shrub that has berries and roots, both of which exhibit medicinal properties.

Ashwagandha and Erectile Dysfunction

Erectile dysfunction can be an embarrassing, and often distressing, condition that affects many men, but sadly there are not many treatment options available. In this blog post, we will discuss how ashwagandha may help men with erectile dysfunction, how it affects testosterone levels, and why it may be a safer option than any chemical drugs. We will also explain the many health benefits of taking ashwagandha.

In recent years, more and more men have reported erectile dysfunction issues. It can be caused by many factors, from age to medical conditions, and unfortunately there is no one-size-fits-all treatment for this condition. Many men turn to chemical-based drugs for relief, but these can have serious side effects and may not be the best solution for everyone. This is why many men are now turning to natural remedies such as ashwagandha.

An Increase In Sexual Pleasure

In addition to remedying symptoms of sexual dysfunction and low libido, ashwagandha can also help boost one’s mental desire and drive for sex. According to studies, this herb can help improve the levels of testosterone in the body. In addition to being used as an ingredient for sexual enhancement, ashwagandha has also been used as a sexual stimulant. According to the Kama Sutra, this herb can help stimulate the production of nitric oxide in the body. Researchers note that nitric oxide plays a key role in facilitating erections by relaxing the vascular muscle that supplies the penis with blood during arousal.

How Ashwagandha Effects Testosterone

Testosterone is the hormone responsible for male sexual function and libido. Low levels of testosterone can lead to erectile dysfunction, and this is where ashwagandha can help. Studies have shown that ashwagandha can increase testosterone levels in men, which may lead to improved sexual performance and libido.

One study found that ashwagandha can increase testosterone levels by up to 20%. This is significantly higher than other treatments, such as pharmaceutical drugs, which can only increase testosterone levels by around 5%. This makes ashwagandha a much better option for men suffering from erectile dysfunction. But you may want to consult your healthcare provider to see if ashwagandha is safe for you to take, especially if you have other health conditions.

Infertility Enhancement

As mentioned previously, ashwagandha can help increase testosterone levels in men. New research suggests that ashwagandha can help increase sperm count and the movement of the male reproductive organ. It can also help prevent stress-induced male infertility. In addition, this herb may help reduce the damage done to the sperm cells.

Improved Endurance In Bed

In one study, ashwagandha was given to a group of participants in supplement form. After taking the supplements, the participants experienced a significant increase in their endurance. The effects of this herb were attributed to its anti-stress and anti-inflammatory properties.

Other Health Benefits Of Ashwagandha

In addition to improving sexual performance, ashwagandha can offer a number of other health benefits. Ashwagandha is believed to reduce stress and anxiety levels, improve mood, and help encourage sound sleep. It also has anti-inflammatory properties, which can help to reduce inflammation in the body.

Ashwagandha is also thought to have a positive effect on heart health. Studies have found that it can reduce cholesterol levels and lower blood pressure, which can reduce the risk of heart disease. It may also enhance immune function, which can help protect the body from illness and disease. Finally, ashwagandha is believed to have anti-aging properties. It can help to reduce the signs of aging, such as wrinkles, and may improve the skin’s appearance.

Increases Muscle And Strength

In one study conducted on men, participants were given ashwagandha supplements and a placebo. Compared to the placebo group, those who took the ashwagandha supplements experienced a significant increase in their muscle strength and size. They also saw a reduction in their body fat percentage. Currently, researchers are still analyzing the effects of ashwagandha on the development of muscle size and strength. One study revealed that ashwagandha consumption resulted in an increase in strength and speed. Another study also noted that the participants experienced a reduction in body fat percentage and cholesterol levels.

Improves Reproductive Health In Women

In a stress-related study, researchers discovered that ashwagandha increased the levels of testosterone in the male participants, but not in the female subjects. While that may be, ashwagandha can also help boost female reproductive health. More studies are necessary on this subject, though.

Sharpens Focus And Memory

According to several studies, ashwagandha supplements significantly improved general memory and attention span. Studies have shown that ashwagandha can improve memory, cognition, and motor responses. In very small studies, the effects of the herb were observed to be significant.

Supports Heart Health

Ashwagandha supplements can help increase the levels of oxygen that the body takes in during physical activity. This is known as the maximum amount of oxygen that the heart can deliver to muscles. The higher the levels of oxygen, the better the heart can perform under certain conditions.

Conclusion

In conclusion, ashwagandha may be an effective and safe treatment option for men suffering from erectile dysfunction. It can help increase testosterone levels, which can improve sexual performance and libido. It can also offer a range of other health benefits, including improved heart health, boosted immunity, and anti-aging properties.

The Deadly Quartet of Erectile Dysfunction https://swordvitality.com/the-deadly-quartet-of-erectile-dysfunction/ Tue, 15 Nov 2022 20:47:26 +0000 https://swordvitality.com/?p=2876 What is attacking the male libido? Health experts identified these problems as the deadly quartet of erectile dysfunction.

The post The Deadly Quartet of Erectile Dysfunction appeared first on Sword Vitality.

]]>
Medical professionals have uncovered a group of killers attacking the male libido. These killers are widely known as the deadly quartet of upper-body obesity stemming from diet, glucose intolerance (pre-diabetes and diabetes), hypertriglyceridemia (too many triglycerides in the blood), and hypertension (high blood pressure).

This vicious group of libido slayers is running rampant throughout the world, but it mostly attacks men in the United States. The murderous song entitled “Erectile Dysfunction” (ED) is on replay everyday. This starts with a subtle approach by doing what seems harmless. Sitting at the hamburger restaurant, ordering from a menu of foods that increase the risk of obesity, high blood pressure/heart disease, high cholesterol, and diabetes.

Change Your ED Lifestyle

Don’t like what you are hearing? Change the tune by committing to a change in lifestyle habits, switching to a better station in life. It doesn’t matter how long you have lived an ED lifestyle because it’s never too late to change. The good news is that change is often easier than you think. The biggest encouragers are these three statements:

  • Realize: A trim waistline is one of the best defenses against erectile dysfunction
  • Beware: Lugging around a 42+ inch waistline is 50% more than likely accompanied by erectile dysfunction.
  • Fact: Obesity not only kills your heart, but it kills your erection.

What Are The Two Fastest Roads To Obesity?

Excess fat and estrogen-saturated foods contain several fat-building hormones that not only expand your waistline, but also contribute to the development of gynecomastia (man boobs). Reminder: If man-boobs have joined a big gut, some form of erectile dysfunction will be joining that party.

With a bit of attention being paid to the things that you consume on a daily basis, you will be able to better prevent ED from ruining your sex life. At Sword Vitality, we strongly suggest our members make better food choices that are conducive to turning things around.

Happy Sex Life Common Knowledge

Cardiovascular disease and diabetes are two of the major diseases that increase your risk of developing ED. Many health experts say that a healthy heart helps you maintain a healthy erection, and a healthy erection keeps your sex life lively and healthy. To learn more about this read click here.

Can Your Sexual Enemy Become Your Friend?

Most men view erectile dysfunction as their enemy, and for good reason. Take into consideration the number of life threatening causes of ED, and let’s ponder something else. Maybe it’s time to view ED as a lifesaver versus a killer. This does sound crazy, especially since ED kills one of the most important aspects of any adult male’s life: his sex life.

Doing a little reverse engineering, since ED is a notable symptom of other serious health-related issues like cardiovascular disease, renal disease, and cancer, it is certainly a view that could be taken from a new angle.

As mentioned in the beginning of the article, the deadly quartet increase the risk of ED, but let’s take a look at the top ten diseases and conditions that cause ED:

  • Type 2 Diabetes
  • Heart disease
  • Atherosclerosis
  • Chronic kidney disease
  • Peyronie’s disease
  • Urological problems
  • Multiple sclerosis
  • Prostate and bladder surgical injuries
  • Anxiety
  • Depression

If you are experiencing any of these issues, addressing these with your medical professional could change your experience with ED.

Can Not Getting The Girl Be A Diagnosis For ED?

Some see female to male attraction as her attraction to his pheromones. To be brutally honest, there is really so much more than what meets the eye. When a woman eyes a physically fit man, something riveting happens. She experiences something more important than mere physical attraction. Her feminine instincts are heightened in an instant. There’s a primal instinct that occurs between the two.

And Why Is That?

When a woman sees a man with a well exercised body, her natural intuition automatically screams, “He’s healthy, full of life, and is good in bed!” i.e. fertile.

On the other hand, when that same woman comes across an obese person, those same sensors that whisper “SEXY” and “VIRILE” about an athletic man will scream the exact opposite, “He has ED!”

While the underlying byproducts of obesity may not be proven with her naked eye, she would be willing to bet that there is at least one other health problem going on. Whether it be high blood pressure, type 2 diabetes, or fluid retention, she notices that he isn’t a marathon runner, to say the least.

When Should A Man Consider Himself Overweight:

In conclusion, here are a few medical facts and not just opinions. After speaking with a number of men who have not truly taken their weight into consideration, we find that many of them will consider themselves to be a healthy big boy. They will say, “I’ve put on a few pounds, but I’m healthy,” or, “I need to get my six pack back, but I’m not fat.” This is a very casual way to look at what the weight gain may actually be doing to the body.A healthy Body Mass Index (BMI) is within the 18.5 to 25% range. Excess body weight is considered overweight when the BMI increases to 25 to 29.9. Obesity is when BMI exceeds 30, according to medical experts. Research published in the Annals of Internal Medicine found that men with a BMI of 28 or more had a 30% higher risk of ED. Don’t consider this the end of the world, though. A number of other studies show that by decreasing your BMI to a healthy range, you can reverse many of the issues that accompany obesity, including erectile dysfunction.

The post Do You Have Erectile Dysfunction (Impotence)? appeared first on Sword Vitality.

]]>
Before you can entertain the question of whether or not you are impotent , you should at least understand how your penis works and what erectile dysfunction (ED) actually is. The simplified definition is: The inability to maintain an erection firm enough for satisfying sexual activity.

This simplified but very broad definition is a frequently misunderstood and subjective mouthful. In this article we are going to give you a good understanding of this dysfunction and what may or may not be going on inside of your physical sexual health. Although this article will touch more on the physical aspects, we are not ignoring the psychological effects.

Oftentimes, men will occasionally experience an erection that doesn’t last and then sound the mental alarms out of worry or panic. This isn’t a real cause for huge concern as several small reasons that are not erectile dysfunction may be to blame.

Flaccid vs. Erect Penis

Before taking a deeper dive into ED, let’s first go over the basics. Flaccid vs erect penis: A flaccid penis is a penis that is relaxed, whereas an erect penis is an aroused, blood-filled penis. During sexual arousal, blood vessels in the penis relax and then open up, allowing them to fill with blood. When blood is trapped under high pressure, an erection is the result. The erectile tissue of the penis is made up of elastic fibers, collagen, smooth muscles, arteries, and veins. All of these things together allow the penis to become erect. With age, however, the penis can lose tissue elasticity and in turn may affect how well and how long the penis stretches. People may also experience inflammation and reduced blood flow to the penis as they age, which can affect an erection as well.

Causes Of Erection

There are a few reasons that a man can experience an erection, but the two most common reasons are due to physical or emotional stimulation. Physical stimulation such as touch is a reflex erection and emotional stimulation is induced by thought, also known as a psychogenic erection. In contrast to a healthy erection, ED can be induced by psychological or organic (physical reasons). Organic reasons include physical ailments such as hypertension, neurological problems from diabetes, or hormonal dysfunctions like low testosterone. Although these are the usual suspects that cause ED, there is no specific test to diagnose the condition, so evaluating and concluding if a man is suffering from ED is heavily reliant on the sexual experiences of the individual male, coupled with a questioning of physiological stressors, blood tests, urine tests, and physical exams.

ED Is Not Just A Problem For Older Men

Please understand that ED is a serious sexual dysfunction suffered by men of all ages and from all walks of life. A problem once believed to be the sole burden of old men, ED is no longer the “grandpa disease;” rather, it is now the potential burden of all men. To demonstrate this fact, a collection of contemporary evidence and large multinational studies have come to prove this truth. Studies have estimated that ED is more present in the younger and younger men. Studies also show that ED is a huge problem for young men under the age of 39; in fact, that rate is as high as 52% and growing.

Surprised by this information? Well, hold on to your seat. What’s even more surprising is that ED has become such a common condition in young men that having ED is no longer a surprise. What’s also surprising is the highly ignored fact that 79% of men with ED have a BMI that exceeds 25 – a common factor among men who overindulge in foods in the Standard American Diet (SAD). That means they consume more fast and processed foods no matter which country they live in. Processed foods and fast or fried foods are not just abundant in America; rather, these foods are everywhere.

How Health Relates To ED

As of 2021, around 30 million men in the United States alone were found to be actively suffering from various forms of ED, experiencing mild to severe symptoms. Some of the top sources of physiological issues include bad dental hygiene, heart disease, obesity, alcoholism, estrogenic filled diets (such as soy products), and diabetes. It’s a well-known fact that diabetes can affect anyone of any age, weight, race, or sex, but did you know that diabetes is one of leading physical causes of ED? This is due to the nerve damage and restrictive blood flow to the penis.

While we have focused predominantly on physical causes of ED, we must let you know that an important health concern can negatively affect a man’s psychosocial well-being. ED can also be attributed to a psychological hindrance, including depression, anxiety, and partner-related difficulties. Men who suffer mental trauma from their ED concerns experience an even greater loss as it spills over into their everyday lives. The most frightening aspect of this is that these men tend to experience a sudden onset of symptoms, with decreased libido and reduced quality of spontaneous or self-stimulated or partner-induced erections.

What Can You Do About This?

First off, keep in mind that you are not alone. Sword Vitality is here for you, so you don’t have to be stuck with the burden of ED. Secondly, you may want to have a careful diagnostic evaluation with a focus on the identification of any underlying conditions to ensure appropriate management, or pay a visit to your choice of health practitioner to help determine the root cause. Thirdly, you can opt to exercise an herbal self-care regimen. Whatever you choose to do, Sword Vitality aims to be a resource for you.

Testosterone: From A To Z (Arousal To Zinc) https://swordvitality.com/testosterone-from-a-to-z-arousal-to-zinc/ Mon, 25 Jul 2022 10:39:00 +0000 https://swordvitality.com/?p=2814 Learn about testosterone, from A to Z, and how it helps to enhance male reproductive health and boost testosterone levels.

The post Testosterone: From A To Z (Arousal To Zinc) appeared first on Sword Vitality.

]]>
Zinc is one of the best minerals for the male reproductive system. For starters, zinc is potent enough to influence a man’s fertility, sex drive, and overall sexual health. On the flip-side, zinc deficiency can cause impotency, lower testosterone levels, and increase the risk of prostate cancer.

Erectile Dysfunction’s Relation To Zinc

Erectile dysfunction (ED) is one of the most common sexual problems that men have to deal with. We know there are a host of different causes of ED, ranging from nutritional deficiencies to clinical depression. That said, recent studies found that ED is a common symptom of zinc deficiency. When levels of zinc fall below the recommended threshold, problems begin. Researchers discovered that low zinc is a known culprit in cases of hypogonadism, masculine growth and development during puberty or enough sperm or both, and impotence.

The body cannot store excess zinc, which means that continuous dietary intake is necessary. The body can maintain zinc levels within skeletal muscle, skin, and heart if zinc intake is insufficient. However, zinc levels in bone, testicles, liver, and plasma begin to decline without regular zinc intake. It is unfortunate that many adults do not get enough of this mineral that occurs naturally in many different food sources. If you don’t get enough via your diet, supplementation is always a viable option, but you may want to discuss the dosage of zinc with your doctor first.

Zinc For Men

It’s important to understand that when it comes to men, zinc brings an array of benefits to the table. According to several studies, zinc works to enhance sperm production and support prostate health. While men need zinc for a range of reasons, specifically in regards to testosterone maintenance, men especially need it for their thyroid function. According to one study, an excess or deficit of thyroid hormones can alter testicular function, including semen abnormalities. Not only does zinc deficiency directly affect the male reproductive organs, but it also indirectly affects them via the thyroid and the hormones it produces.

When a man ejaculates, he loses zinc, as it is present in semen. So that he can enjoy a powerful ejaculation again and again, and because his body needs zinc but cannot produce it, it is important to replenish after ejaculation.

Health Benefits Of Zinc

Again, zinc benefits the body in many ways, but we are taking a deeper dive into zinc and how it benefits male reproductive health. Continue reading to learn more.

  • Enhances Sexual Health and Testosterone Levels: Zinc is important to sperm production and low zinc content can lead to decreased semen volume and testosterone levels. Increasing zinc intake works to prevent the body from converting existing testosterone into other chemicals. Zinc ultimately improves testosterone levels in healthy men that have low levels of zinc. Keep in mind that guided supplementation may be the best option for increasing your testosterone.
  • Lessens the Risk of Prostate Cancer: Prostate health is not something many men like talking about; however, it is best to maintain a healthy prostate to reduce the risk of prostate cancer later in life. According to scientists, cancerous prostate tissues have significantly less zinc than healthy prostate tissues. Furthermore, it was revealed that the zinc in prostate cells offers some sort of protection, so lower zinc levels may reduce the body’s ability to fight against prostate cancer.
  • Improves Sperm Motility: Yes, motility. It is not a typo. Having a healthy sex drive and healthy sperm count is important, but high sperm motility is of equal importance. Sperm motility refers to the endurance and strength of your sperm cells to swim toward the egg and fertilize it. Inadequate levels of zinc, as well as other nutritional deficiencies, can cause low sperm motility.

Problems Associated With Low Levels Of Zinc

Zinc is an integral mineral to optimizing male health, as we’ve detailed previously. We also want you to know that zinc loss can decrease libido and lead to a variety of different problems. Common indicators of low zinc levels are detailed as follows:

  • Hair Loss or Thinning: Your body may starve your hair of zinc so that it can distribute the essential mineral among other tissues that are more important for survival.
  • Loss or Change of Taste: Your taste buds are not as important as many other internal organs, so the body will redirect zinc from your tongue to more important processes. Studies found that supplementing with zinc worked to improve taste disturbances, or loss of taste.
  • Muscle Loss: In addition to influencing metabolism, zinc depletion in men reduces testosterone in the body. Testosterone is integral for fat burning and muscle growth, or maintenance of existing muscle. Additionally, low zinc levels may reduce one’s athletic performance, endurance, and overall strength.

We hope this information proved helpful and provided a new insight to the importance of zinc. Feel free to contact us with any questions regarding zinc and how it may improve your health.

Learn about the hard facts and what really happens to men with this common health condition.

]]>
The prevalence of erectile dysfunction (ED) in men is very high. It is a growing problem and the risk only increases with age. In fact, a 2018 review estimated that ED affected about one-third of men. A 2019 review confirmed that the global prevalence of ED ranged between 3% and 76.5%. Although ED increases with age, young men can experience this condition, which affects about 26% of men under the age of 40. Occasionally experiencing erection problems is not a cause for concern, but if you are at all concerned about the quality or duration of erections, you should speak to a doctor.

According to the Mayo Clinic, high blood pressure and other health conditions can interfere with ejaculation and reduce sexual desire. At the same time, ED is a complex process that involves the brain, emotions, nerves, muscles, and blood vessels. For this reason, there is a mental aspect at play, and it may require nourishment if you want to arrive at the solution.

What Really Happens With ED?

After interviewing hundreds of men and practitioners, it has been uncovered that many men are completely oblivious to what happens inside of their bodies when experiencing ED. One huge mistake being made by most men today is not acknowledging a potential problem with ED, and placing blame where it does not belong. Additionally, most men are unaware of their silent health problems, including low testosterone and a number of other ailments.

Instead, it’s possible for a man to consider, “She just doesn’t turn me on anymore,” or, “I love her but for some reason I can’t reach an orgasm with her.” For many men, looking outside the self and in the direction of his partner is a very common way to rationalize ED. This brings to mind that old adage of the blame game and finger pointing. Remember, when pointing a finger at someone else, you still have three fingers pointing back at you. Take this into account and you may arrive at a solution more quickly

Prevalence Of ED

Facing the hard reality can be difficult when it comes to a man’s inability to perform sexually and please his woman. On the other hand, a consequence of ignoring the issue can lead to more devastating problems in your overall health, sexual functionality, and romantic relationship.

According to several surveys with couples, there is an uglier side of ED that often leaves the man feeling less than a complete man. For women, lackluster sex delivers a crushing blow to her level of self-worth, confidence, and attractiveness once she realizes her most expensive lingerie, sexiest dance, or erotic foreplay will not change his response to her. What’s even more interesting is the attempts to spare embarrassment. Both men and women in relationships make huge attempts to keep ED a secret. Men may not want to admit that there is a problem going on, and women may not want to reveal that their feelings are hurt, or that they feel undesired.

ED Is Not Only An Older Man’s Problem

Believe it or not, ED is not only a problem for men over the age of 55. Today, 1 in 5 men both under and over the age of 55 report having difficulty getting and keeping an erection long enough to bring his partner or himself to orgasm. “But I love sex,” you may say, but do you know that many men confuse having a healthy sex drive (desires) with what ED really is? With ED, you can have a sex drive that’s in overdrive and still have serious trouble shifting into gear because your body will not respond to your desires.

Don’t ignore the signs and symptoms of this condition. Take control of your health to prevent the problem from worsening. You don’t have to feel embarrassed because ED is a very common problem, as we’ve explained in this article. Don’t play the blame game; rather, look to your own health to see if there are any health issues you need to address.
